Details of the car hire and the supplier are shown on our website next to each product. Car hire is subject to the Terms and Conditions imposed by the supplier. In the event of any conflict between the Terms and Conditions of sale of the supplier and these Terms and Conditions, the Terms and Conditions of the supplier shall prevail. By using this site you acknowledge the contract for sale and purchase of the car hire in question is exclusively a contract between yourself and the supplier of the car hire. Malco The car hire prices include: Limited Mileage (150 km included per day. Extra km is charged depending on the group of vehicle), Airport fees & VAT Insurance with: CDW: Collision Damage Waiver ( NO EXCESS IF COLLECTING FROM CASTELLON AIRPORT OR IF COLLECTING FROM CASTELLON OFFICE OR VILA-REAL OFFICE A DEPOSIT WILL BE REQUIRED IF INSURANCE IS NOT TAKEN OUT AND FOR NEGLIGENCE) (ACCIDENT/POLICE REPORT FORMS MUST BE FILLED IN IF THERE IS ANY DAMAGE TO THE CAR OR CHARGES WILL BE APPLIED)
Free Additional Driver at Castellon and Valencia Airports. The car hire prices do not include: PLEASE NOTE IF YOUR ARE PICKING UP FROM CASTELLON AIRPORT THE SCDW INSURANCE IS INCLUDED IN THE PRICE SO THERE IS NO EXCESS. Malco Rent a Car offer insurance to cover the excess if you are picking the car up from Castellon Office or Vila-Real Office, if this is not taken out the following Excess applies that will be charged on the credit card and returned to your card as long as no damage is made to uninsured parts of the car. (Please note when the money is returned to the card Malco have no control over the rate of exchange of the day): EXCESS AMOUNT IF COLLECTING FROM CASTELLON OFFICE OR VILA-REAL OFFICE IS €400 EUROS (This amount will be returned after verification that the vehicle is in the same condition as have been taken) Such return or release of any deposit may take several days to appear on your card statement depending on the operation of your bank. Malco rent a car, is not responsible for the fees charged by your bank on the return of the franchise and reserves the right to cancel delivery of the vehicle in case of doubts about the financial capacity of the client or the history of defaults or serious incidents with our merchant in previous rentals. The insurance does not cover roadside assistance, wheels, tires, hubcaps, locks, windows, side and rear-view mirrors, undercarriage, motor, towing service after accident, clutch, battery, locks, damage to oil sump, catalytic convertor, radiator SCDW Insurance To cover this excess there is a charge of €10.62 Euros per day with a maximum of €181.50 Euros. If you are collecting from Castellon and Valencia Airports the SCDW insurance is free of charge. The company will not be responsible for lost flight of customers, who are not in time and within our facilities to carry out checking, for all of which, exempt from any liability and expenses that will generate customers. You must always notify Malco Rent a Car of any collision, theft, fire or act of vandalism involving the vehicle within forty-eight hours of it occurring, and provide the pertinent documentation (accident report, police report, etc.). Tow-away service due to client's negligence, traffic fines, damaged tyres etc Theft of personal effects Loss or damage to car keys (replacement cost between 60 € and 100 € depending on model of vehicle). Late return of the vehicle: if the vehicle is returned after the date and time agreed to in the rental contract, the insurance policy will be invalidated and the client will be subject to a penalty charge of €40 (VAT included) x day. Apart from this surcharge, clients will also be subject to the payment of the daily rental rate. If a client returns the vehicle without its corresponding documentation a surcharge of €100 will be applied, after checking the vehicle. Clients that abandon their vehicles at a location other than the location agreed to in the rental contract will be responsible for the costs incurred for this breach of contract, which will amount to 120 € (VAT Included). Fuel Policy Malco fuel policy is: Full to Full: Car will be supplied full of fuel and must be returned full of fuel (customers will be charged for a full tank of fuel and if the car is returned full of fuel you will receive a full refund). If the car is not returned full of fuel a surcharge of €40 Euros plus the charge of the fuel will be applied. If a customer returns the vehicle before the date agreed you will end up paying for the number of days you used the vehicle. So if you rented for 3 days but drop off on the second day, you will pay for a 2-day rent. However, prices change depending on the number of days, so you cannot expect to have the price per day of a 7-day rent if finally the rent is just for 2 days. Requirements: A valid credit card will be required at car hire collection point we DO accept AmEx. Payment shall be made by the credit card (Visa or MasterCard) of the main driver. If only a debit card is available (Visa or MasterCard is accepted) it will be necessary to take out Malco additional SCDW insurance.
