By using or accessing our website, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms and Conditions of use as they apply to your use of or access to our website. If you do not wish to be bound by these Terms and Conditions then you may not use our website. Our website is a place for you to select and order car hire in Spain. Details of the car hire and the supplier are shown on our website next to each product. Car hire is subject to the Terms and Conditions imposed by the supplier. In the event of any conflict between the Terms and Conditions of sale of the supplier and these Terms and Conditions, the Terms and Conditions of the supplier shall prevail. By using this site you acknowledge the contract for sale and purchase of the car hire in question is exclusively a contract between yourself and the supplier of the car hire. You will be subject to the specific terms of the supplier of car hire set out below: THE MAIN DRIVER OF THE HIRE VEHICLE MUST HAVE A VALID CREDIT CARD UNLESS OTHERWISE STATED

Although in almost every case booking our All-inclusive package removes the need for a deposit, we do always reserve the right to request a deposit for any reason at our sole discretion. If you have any doubts, please contact us to clarify this. Please note that our Jeep Wrangler (group JS) carries special conditions relating to the excess and coverage. The excess of this group is 3000 €. By purchasing our All-inclusive package the excess and deposit are reduced to 900 € instead of zero which is the case of the other groups.
The standard rate insurance does not include any damage caused by driver’s negligence or a failure to adhere to certain clauses of the hire agreement. Please be aware that theft is not covered if the keys are left in the vehicle. And mechanical damage is not covered if negligence and/or improper use is proven or due care of the vehicle is not provided (e.g. running out of engine oil, ignoring warning lights, etc). The coverage excludes consequences of driving on unpaved roads or where otherwise not permitted to drive.
Neither our fully comprehensive coverage nor any of the top up coverages includes theft or damage to personal belongings.
In addition, the coverage does not include the following:

Accident processing fee €60 Euros.
Fine management fee €40 Euros for traffic fines.
Vehicle returned by an unauthorised driver €50 Euros.
Unused days: There are no refunds for unused days.
FUEL POLICY:
Full to empty rates: Cars are provided with a full tank of petrol, which will be paid for by the customer on collection and should be returned empty.
Full to full rates: Cars are provided with a full tank of petrol and should be returned full. In the event that the customer does not returns the car full, the difference will be charged at the desk.
Baby seat: (18 months – 3 years) (€11 Euros per day with a maximum of €88 Euros)
Booster seat: (3+ years) (€11 Euros per day with a maximum of €59 Euros)
GPS Navigation: €10 Euros per day with a maximum of €75 Euros (€80 Euros deposit required)
Cross border fee €20 Euros per day with a minimum of €40 Euros and a maximum €300 Euros.
It is strictly forbidden to drive outside of Spain from our offices of Madrid, Alicante, Valencia, Murcia and Mallorca. Cross border: The cross border is allowed as follows (see additional fee for ‘cross border’): From Seville the car can be taken to Portugal. From Barcelona, Girona and Bilbao the car can be driven to France & Andorra. From Santiago the car can be taken to Portugal.
No refund for early return of your car rental.
One-way rentals: Rentals between our different locations are not permitted.
Out of hours:
Summer: collection service from 23:00 till 01:59 per rental 40€. For returns between 23:00 till 07:59 there is an additional cost of 20 € (except at Bilbao, where 30€ will be charged). Winter: collection service from 22:00 till 01:59 per rental 40€. For returns between 22:00 till 07:59 there is an additional cost of 20 € (except at Bilbao, where 30€ will be charged).
The out-of-hours collection service must be booked prior to arrival and a valid flight number is mandatory. Upon the confirmed arrival time of the flight by the airport authorities, 1 hour of courtesy for pick up is allowed and maximum until 12 a.m. In case of delayed flights please note that the collection is available until 12 a.m. If the customer is not able to collect the car on time, the booking remains valid during the following 24 hours.
Additional Drivers: €8 Euros per day with a minimum €15 Euros and a maximum of €80 Euros
Driving outside mainland Spain €8 Euros per day
For drivers between 21 – 24 years old €9 Euros per day minimum €27.20 Euros / maximum cost €135 Euros (they must have held a driving licence for one year).
For drivers 75 Years and older €8 Euros per day maximum cost €120 Euros
25 day maximum contract longer rentals can be booked but must be split up into 25 days or less Requirements:
A valid credit card will be required at car hire collection point. Drivers must be 21 years old and held a valid driving licence for at least 1 year (minimum 25 years old for Group JS). Groups may contain similar models to those specified. No model can be guaranteed in any group.

Exclusion of Liability In relation to the purchase of Products, we accept no liability for any indirect or consequential loss or damage, or for any loss of data, profit, revenue or business (whether direct or indirect), however caused, even if foreseeable. Cancellations There are no charges made for cancelling car hire with hirecarsinspain.com, but there will be no refunds given for rentals ended early, late collections, no shows or cancellations made after the rental start date. These terms and conditions replace all other Terms and Conditions previously applicable to the use of our website.
