By using or
accessing our website, you agree to be legally bound
by these Terms and Conditions of use as they apply to
your use of or access to our website.
If you do not
wish to be bound by these Terms and Conditions then
you may not use our website.
Our website is a
place for you to select and order car hire in Spain.
Details of the car hire and the supplier are shown on
our website next to each product. Car hire is subject
to the Terms and Conditions imposed by the supplier.
In the event of any conflict between the Terms and
Conditions of sale of the supplier and these Terms
and Conditions, the Terms and Conditions of the
supplier shall prevail.
By using this
site you acknowledge the contract for sale and
purchase of the car hire in question is exclusively a
contract between yourself and the supplier of the car
hire.
You will be
subject to the specific terms of the supplier of car
hire set out below:

are inclusive of:
Collection or
returns to the airports of Alicante, Murcia,
Valencia, Almería, Málaga, Cádiz
(Jerez), Majorca or to our offices.
Unlimited
mileage.
CDW with no

V.A.T. included
on rental charge
Drop-off out of
office hours (from 21 to 8 hours). Except for the
Canary Islands
Only the main
driver included there is an additional charge for

Not included
in our rates:
The insurance
does not cover tyres, wheels, lost keys, windscreens,
clutch, undercarriage and interior of the car. In
case of damage the hirer is liable for such
items.
Additional
insurance to cover windscreen, tyres and
wheels:

From 7 days
to 8 days: €24 Euros
From 9 days
to 28 days: €3 Euros per day with a maximum
charge of €36 Euros
More than 28
days: €60 Euros
Goldcar offer
additional insurance to cover this called
‘Relax Insurance’ this is
optional.
The Relax
Insurance covers:
Undercarriage, Wheels,
tyres, windows, clutch and keys:
From 1 day to
6 days: €30 Euros
From 7 days
to 28 days: €5 Euros per day with a maximum of
€60 Euros
More than 28
days: €90 Euros
Tow-away service
due to client's negligence, traffic fines, damaged
tyres etc
Fuel: Car will
be delivered with a full tank of fuel. Value of fuel
between 35.00 € and 95.00 € depending on
the model supplied, cars must be returned empty as no
refund is given. Bookings of 3 days or less: Goldcar
reimburse the client´s credit card with the
equivalent value of the fuel left in the
tank.
Baby Seats
(€3.5 Euros per day + VAT with a maximum
of €42 Euros) from the 1st November
Baby Seats will cost €2.97 Euros but it DOES NOT
included VAT at 18% and is subject to change from the
Spanish tax administration.
Additional
Drivers (€2.5 Euro per day with a maximum charge
of €25 Euros) from the 1st November
Additional Drivers will cost €2.12 Euros but it
DOES NOT included VAT at 18% and is subject to change
from the Spanish tax administration.
One-Way Rentals
€30 Euros for all one-way rentals of less than 7
days, rentals of 7 days or longer will still be free
of charge.
Drivers under 25
or who have held a licence for between 1 - 4 years,
€3 Euros extra per day up to a maximum of
€42
Euros per rental. Any customer that has held a
driving licence for less than 4 years will be charged
€3 Euros extra per day up to a maximum of
€42
Euros per rental, Goldcar will apply only one charge
of 3€ per day with a maximum of 42€ if the
customer is under the age of 25 and has had a driving
license less than 4 years.
Out of hours
from 23:00 to 07:00 is on request and and additional
charge of €30 Euros per car.
FLIGHT NUMBERS
ESSENTIAL
Customers
wishing to take their car into France or Andorra
(only for clients arriving at Gerona or Reus
Airports) there is a charge of €8 Euros per day
maximum of €50 Euros
Customers
wishing to take their car into Portugal or Gibraltar
(only for clients arriving at Almeria, Malaga, Jerez,
or Seville Airports) there is a charge of €8
Euros per day maximum of €50 Euros
Loss or damage
to car keys (replacement cost between 60 € and
100 € depending on model of vehicle).
Customers who
abandon Goldcar vehicles at any location other then
the location agreed upon on the rental agreement will
be responsible for the costs assumed by Goldcar
Rental for the transport of the vehicle to the agreed
upon drop-off location, as well as the corresponding
daily rental charges and 30€ daily penalization
fee.
A minimum charge
of €40 Euros will be applied if the returned car
requires extra special cleaning
In the event the
vehicle is returned, without proper extension, later
than the agreed rental drop-off time stated in the
contract, the insurance will no longer be valid and
the customer will be responsible for paying a
30€ per day late fee. In addition to the
corresponding late fees, the customer must also pay
the daily rental rate.
If a customer
returns the vehicle earlier then the agreed upon
drop-off date stated in the rental contract, Goldcar
will not refund the customer for any unused
days.
From the
1st November All extras DO NOT included
VAT at 18% and is subject to change from the Spanish
tax administration.

Requirements:

Goldcar do accept debit cards but you must take out
the additional ‘Relax’
insurance.
Drivers must be
21 years of age and have held a valid driving license
for at least two years.
Drivers under 25
or who have held a licence for between 1 - 4 years,
€3 Euros extra per day up to a maximum of
€42 Euros
per rental.
Customers who
have held a driving license for less than 4 years
will have to pay €3 Euros per day maximum of
€42 Euros.
Goldcar will
apply only one charge of 3€ per day with a
maximum of 42€ if the customer is under the age
of 25 and has had a driving license less than 4
years.

Airport parking
fee at Alicante Airport: First 20 minutes is free

customer is responsible for the car park fees charged

taken out.
Drivers must be
21 years of age and have held a valid driving license

The car hire

hours charge (between 22.00 and 8.00) at an
extra charge of 15 euros. There is no extra
charge for returning your car outside office
hours.

DAMAGES THAT
ARE EXCLUDED FROM THE SUPER-CDW COVERAGE
• Lost or
stolen keys

to the underside of the vehicle
• Damage
to the wheel or to the rim
• Tow
truck charge when it is the client’s
fault
• Damage
to the radio-cassette/cd player
• Use of
the wrong fuel
• Damage
to the window glasses or the windscreen
• Damage
to the car locks
• Damage
to the upholstery
• Damage
to the tire (puncture of a tire)
• Lost or
stolen car parts (spare wheel, jack, etc). If they
are stolen the client must report it to
the police, if
not the cost will be charged to the client.

Dangerous driving
• Driving
under the effects of alcohol or drugs
• Any
Damages to the vehicle that are not on an accident
report.
When
receiving the vehicle the client is given an accident
report and instructions on how to fill in all
details. Paying the Super-CDW does not exclude the
client, under any concept, from doing this therefore
if the accident report is not filled in the damages
will be charged directly to the
client.

DESTINATION
Cross Border
€10 Euros per day It is not allowed to drive the
hire car out of Spain mainland with the exception
into Andorra and France limited to the areas of Midi-Pyrenees,
Languedoc and Roussillon.
There will be a
surcharge of 10€ per each day of the total
rental period, France/Andorra for the extra insurance
with a minimum of 3 days of rental period.

the Spanish tax administration.

Products on our website
To order car
hire you will need to follow the ordering procedures
set out on the relevant order page.

prices for the car hire and the procedures for
payment and collection are displayed on or through
our website. The price of the car hire is the price
in force at the date and time of your order. The
price of the car hire may change before you place
your order. We try to ensure that the prices
displayed on our website are accurate but the price
on your order will need to be validated by the
supplier as part of the acceptance procedure. We will
inform you if the car hire price is higher than that
stated in your order and you may cancel the order and
decide whether or not to order the car hire at the
correct price.
You undertake

Cancellations
There are no
charges made for cancelling car hire with
hirecarsinspain.com, but there will be no refunds
given for rentals ended early, late collections, no
shows or cancellations made after the rental start
date.

conditions replace all other Terms and Conditions
previously applicable to the use of our
website.
